What do you think of personality tests? I am a fan of those and I’ve done quite a few of them for fun. If you like them too and you’re a creative, then you’ll love this fun and simple test Adobe has just released. Through a series of slightly abstract questions, you’ll get to reveal what kind of a creative you are. Ready?

The test is inspired by popular personality tests such as the Myers-Briggs and the Enneagram. But, instead of asking you to rank claims from the most to the least true for you, it takes you through fifteen binary questions. Some of them are pretty quirky, such as “Are you a ruler or a spring?” But, the answers you give will ultimately reveal what type of creative you are.

There are eight types of creatives: the Artist, the Thinker, the Adventurer, the Maker, the Producer, the Dreamer, the Innovator, and the Visionary. I couldn’t resist and I took the test, and my result is “The Dreamer.” Considering how short and simple the test questions are, the result is quite accurate in my case.

Of course, the results aren’t “black-and-white labels,” as Adobe notes. “While there’s probably one core type that best describes you, you may change types at different points in your life and career, or even at different stages of the creative process. As a creative, you have a little bit of all eight Types inside you.”

If you wanna have some fun and find out which of these eight types describes you best, head over to Adobe’s website and take the test.

So, what type of creative are you?
